Rugby Fever has hit
Stellenbosch with the IRB Junior World Championship 2012 having kicked off at
the Danie Craven stadium on the 4th of June. The Irish team caused a major shock on day
one after beating our Junior Boks 23-19, and the remainder of the South African
games promise to be nail-biters as our under 20 national side fight to not only
secure a place in the next stage, but also get the honour back.
The tournament will be held
from the 4th to the 22nd June, with games at the Danie Craven Stadium in
Stellenbosch and the University of Western Cape Stadium in Cape Town. The
final will be played at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch on 22 June. To

Fans in the Western Cape
will be able to watch the future stars of world rugby for as little as R25, -
with a single ticket giving rugby fans admission to see a triple-header of
matches on one of the five match days (8, 12, 17 and 22 June). Tickets
for the much anticipated tournament can be booked via any Computicket outlet in
South Africa or via the Computicket website www.computicket.com.
The Oude Leeskamer Guest House is a mere 5 minute
walk (down the beautiful and historical “Die Laan”) from the Danie Craven Stadium,
making it an ideal place to stay during the tournament. Because we love rugby
as much as you do, we are also offering a 10% discount to any guests coming for
the Junior Rugby World Cup, so to make a booking give us a call on Tel: 021 882
9449 or email us on reservations@oudeleeskamer.com.
